Excellent resource for students and nurses with many years of nursing experience. ANY questions you have can be found here. I would like to recommend this app for all nursing programs.

I wish it would provide simplicity for certain definitions like the dictionary

It won’t let me open the app until I log in, ok so how do I get a account so I log in? Under Institutions, my school is not there. So then I can’t get the app?

I'm a 1st year pediatrics resident and this app has been an amazing addition to my regular references. Harriet Lane alone is indispensable, but there's so much else on here that has enhanced my education: quick reference ebooks, journals, tables. Strongly recommend

I can’t believe the amount of information that this app has. Many students have to take tons of books to school and clinicals but not me! :) U-Central has infinite amounts of information that no book will ever carry at once. Do yourself a favor and get this. Very very useful.

Some medications are important laboratory test, such as growth factor IGF-1 are not available

I love this app. I am a family physician who teaches at a medical school. Best is the thorough, well done Johns Hopkins Antibiotic Guide. What do you want to know about and infectious disease for its treatment? Easily find the correct and up to date answer in the Antibiotic Guide. The Pocket Guide to Diagnostic Test he is also outstanding. Are use it on my iPad. I have no trouble with adequate storage space. Updates have been very quick and easy.

This app has helped me so much throughout nursing school. Easy to understand and is a great tool for clinical. Davis drug guide has been the one resource I've used consistently throughout the last 3 years of school.

Used this Hopkins abx guide since around 2011 for med school an internal med residency, used to pay out of pocket for stand alone app because it was so useful. I would still use it now as an ID fellow but the Unbound app becomes completely unusable when it deems time for an update which involves freeing up more space on my iphone 6 which i don't have time to do every 3 -6 weeks during a busy consult service. I am annoyed it comes bundled with all these other garbage references that clutter up the search function. I get this app free through my institution but i would pay handsomely for the paper version of this guide and sorely miss the standalone app. The content is unrivaled, but an app that is unusable every time it updates is unreliable and thus not a tool i would use in day to day clinical practice. Please make a paper version.

Great app for a quick review of antibiotics!

This has been a lifesaver in clinical. My preceptor ask questions that I can immediately answer. Lab references are helpful. Davis Drug Guide is straightforward and is laid out well. Best medical app I've used so far!

Tried reinstalling but the app always crashes when trying to search on my new 5S. Considering this is an essential feature, it makes the app nearly useless currently.

Quite useful I especially love the 5-minute consult. You should add additional components like Harriet-Lane's book.

I love this app! The 5-minute clinical consult has a great summary of each disease. I use it all the time to review my stuff. It has a wonderful UI and isn't slow or cluttered. Calculators are amazing too!

Great app for obtaining a overview of many clinical problems. Has been really useful during my first med school rotation and it seems it will be very useful for all of them. Information is accurate and uptodate.

I'm in nursing school and when we were given the option to buy the app instead of the books I was for it!!! It always updates, I can get to information easily, and it's just like reading the book! All books right at my finger tips all at the same time! I save so much time with this app! I would go insane if I had to go through five books to find my answers. I highly recommend this app!

I love accessing my library's holdings through this app! The Medline Search yields good results, and the Grapherence piece is a huge bonus. The Medline Journals feature is great too - I can access JAMA, NEJM, Annals, and BMJ from one place. I love this app!

Nice to have around for clinicals.

My first search (for EFFIENT/Prasurgrel) failed.

This app requires you to log in every time you open it. Then you have to wait for it to update itself, which takes several minutes, before you can access the content. Not practical at all as a quick reference for the clinical setting. There should be a "remember me" option for the log in and you should have the choice to update at a later time.

Works great! Doesn't need Internet after initial download and update. Fast and convenient.

This app is the best for students or professionals doing assessments. It does require a code though. I got mine through my nursing school as this app is required for us.
